Assad, Saint John Headline Presentations as Women’s Leadership Forum Returns to The 2020 Honda Classic
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – As many of the world’s top PGA TOUR professionals prepare to showcase their skills at The Classic in The Palm Beaches, the tournament will serve as the backdrop for a Tuesday morning forum inspiring professional women toward career and personal development.
The Classic in The Palm Beaches’s Women’s Leadership Forum will be held February 25, 2020 from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at PGA National Resort & Spa with a powerful tandem of keynote speakers.
Michele Rigby Assad, a former undercover CIA counterterrorism officer who spent 10 years in the Middle East and Bozoma Saint John, the CMO of Endeavor, a global leader in entertainment, sports and fashion operating in more than 30 countries, will be this year’s featured speakers.
Tickets are $150 per seat or $1500 for a table of 10.
Part of The Classic in The Palm Beaches’s continuing Women’s Initiative for nine years, this popular business forum brings together influential women to participate in an engaging event focused on professional and personal development.
More than 200 businesswomen will participate in the event, which includes presentations, networking sessions and a behind-the-scenes tour of the tournament.
Assad is a former undercover counterterrorism officer who served in Iraq and several other locations during her 10-year stint in the Middle East. She tells interesting stories about working as female collection management officer and operations officer in the Arab World with terrorist sources. Her best-selling book Breaking Cover was published by Tyndale in 2018.
In her role at Endeavor, Saint John focuses on driving marketing efforts across the company’s growing portfolio, as well as its Endeavor Global Marketing business, which works with premium brands including InBev, Papa John’s, Marriott, Microsoft, T-Mobile, and USAA. The Endeavor network specializes in talent representation and management; brand marketing, sponsorship and licensing; media development, sales and distribution; event operation, sports training and league development.
Before joining Endeavor, Saint John served as Chief Brand Officer at Uber, Head of Global Consumer Marketing at Apple Music & iTunes and Head of Music and Entertainment Marketing at PepsiCo. Her career has been marked by induction into Billboard’s Women in Music Hall of Fame (2018) and the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement (2014), as well as recognition on The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Power 100 list (2018) and on Forbes’ World’s Most Influential CMOs list (2018). Saint John has also been featured on the cover of Adweek as “one of the most exciting personalities in advertising” and on lists ranging from Fast Company’s and Ad Age’s Most Creative People to Ebony’s 100 Powerful Executives, Black Enterprise’s Most Powerful Women in Business and Fortune’s Most Influential CMOs.
