We have taken advanced measures to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19, as health & safety is our top priority for all involved in the 2021 Honda Classic. While on the grounds of PGA National Resort & Spa we ask that you wear a mask, social distance, follow all signage posted, and of course enjoy watching some of the world’s top golfers!
Health & Safety is Our Top Priority
Our staff has gone to great lengths to ensure the health and safety of all our patrons, guests, competitors, families, volunteers, vendors and staffs. Working within local and state guidelines, and in partnership with the PGA TOUR, the tournament has exceeded all requirements to promote a clean and safe event.
Health & Safety Overview
Below are a few key highlights of steps taken to ensure an enjoyable and safe event for all:
- PPE available throughout the property, permanent and temporary structures, and all parking lots at no-charge
- Masks will be available for anyone in need
- Service staff, vendors, concessionaire staff, transportation drivers, etc. all required to wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Hand-sanitizer prevalent at all ingress/egress points and highly trafficked areas
- Strict enforcement of local and state guidelines requiring use of facial coverings
- Inclusive of temporary and permanent structures, transportation vehicles, office trailers, etc.
- Enhanced safety measures in regards to food preparation and distribution
- Increased number of restroom and hand-wash facilities on-site
- All restrooms areas staffed with janitorial services/attendant to ensure frequent cleaning of units, handles, & restocking of PPE/cleaning supplies
- Hospitality Venues strategically altered in design & construction to facilitate social distancing, limit large groups of interaction
- F&B setup/distribution expanded to limit total number of patrons utilizing one area
- Strict safety and customized, personal service to limit touch points
- All permanent and temporary structures to undergo daily “fogging” to completely sanitize and disinfect structures, rooms, service areas, seats, bars, drink rails, tables, etc.
- All tournament vehicles, shuttles, buses, golf carts sanitized and fogged daily
- All vendors, staff, volunteers, patrons, and guests required to submit to daily temperature scan prior to gaining access to the property
- Increased signage throughout parking lots and on-site to promote social distancing, maintaining personal hygiene & cleanliness
- Contactless experience from start to finish – ticketing, merchandise, and concessions transactions all touchless
